Cancellation of the project for "the setting up of a solar battery for water supply in San Jaroen community."

This project was contracted on February 27, 2006 for the purpose of improving the living environment in an unelectrified hilltribe village in Chiang Rai province in order to secure a stable water supply by introducing a solar powered generation system with water pump. However, electrical power supply reached the village in May 2006 as a result of implementation of Thai government policy to extend electrical power nationwide. Therefore, the project is no longer required. It has thus been suspended and the grant provided was also returned.
