2019 Autumn Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals

            On November 3rd, the Government of Japan announced the conferment of decorations upon three Thai citizens as part of the 2019 Autumn Conferment of Decorations on Foreign Nationals. The details of the three Thai recipients of decorations are as follow:
 

ACM Johm Rungswang

• Privy Council, Kingdom of Thailand,
• Former Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force,
• Former Head of Thai Branch, National Defense Academy of Japan Alumni Association

            ACM Johm is awarded "The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star" for his invaluable contributions to strengthening bilateral military relations between Japan and Thailand.

Mr. Samran Chooduangngern

• Former President of Old Japan Students' Association, Kingdom of Thailand (OJSAT)

            Mr. Samran is awarded "The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette" for his invaluable contributions to promoting friendly relations and mutual understanding between Japan and Thailand.

Ms. Nitayasri Garuvarn
