Donation of COVID-19 vaccine to Thailand (Third donation: 300,000 doses)
On September 14, the Government of Japan decided to donate 300,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to Thailand. With 1.05 million doses donated in early July and 300,000 doses that arrived on 8 September, the total volume of the donated AstraZeneca vaccine from the Government of Japan to Thailand will be approximately 1.65 million doses.
As a “Strategic Partner” to Thailand, Japan will continue to extend support for the efforts of the people and Government of Thailand to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.
