Job opportunity: local staff for the Economic section, Embassy of Japan
The Embassy of Japan in the Kingdom of Thailand is seeking for a person to work as a clerk in the Economic section.
1. Qualification required
All applicants must satisfy each criteria detailed below.
A) Nationality: ThailandB) Language Proficiency: Working level fluency in Japanese or English
(Japanese: N1 Level English: TOEFL 100 or IELTS 7.0 or above)
C) Education and Interest: Undergraduate degree or above with a strong interest in Japan
D) Residential Area: Bangkok or its suburbs
E) IT literacy/skills: Sufficient working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
F) Flexible and proactive attitude toward the job described in Section 4 below “Job Specification”
2. Work Conditions
A) Salary: will be determined in accordance with the Embassy’s rules. (Details will be explained at the interview)
B) Working hours:8:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday
C) Start of the employment:19th February 2024
3. Office Location
Economic Section, Embassy of Japan in Thailand
177 Witthayu Road, Lumphini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330
(Within 10 minute walk from MRT Lumphini station)
4. Job Specifications
A) Secretarial works including arranging meetings between the Embassy officials and public/private sectors of Thailand
B) Participating in the meetings mentioned above and preparing meeting records
C) Research works and preparing documents for Thai economy
D) Proof reading and translation of Thai documents related to jobs specified above
E) Other supporting jobs to assist the Embassy officials
