Vacancy Announcement – Local Staff (Administrative Position)
Economic Division, Embassy of Japan in Thailand
The Economic Section of the Embassy of Japan in Thailand is seeking a motivated and responsible local staff member to support our work. The Economic Division is mainly engaged with Japan - Thailand economic relations and Japan’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) to Thailand. We are currently seeking a local staff to handle secretarial, administrative and basic research duties.
Location: Economic Division, Embassy of Japan (Witthayu Road, Bangkok)
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:30
Expected Start Date: Mid-June 2026 or July 2026 (subject to change)
Age Guideline: Approximately under 35
1. Qualifications (All Required)
- Thai nationality
- Proficiency in Japanese (N2 or above) (English proficiency is advantage)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Residence in Bangkok or surrounding areas
- Ability to use PC applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and handle tasks flexibly
2. Main Responsibilities
- Administrative and secretarial support within the Economic Division
- Basic research and coordination on selected topics
- Appointment arrangements, documentation, and communication with external stakeholders
3. Employment Conditions
- Salary will be determined in accordance with Embassy regulations (to be informed after interview)
